- I recently built an adaptor to use analogue joysticks on my A1200,
- but when I tried to use it I found that the x and y axes were swapped
- (eg. up was left and left was down). I checked the documentation I had
- used for the pin assignments (A1200 manual and joystick manual, both of
- which are backed up by other sources), but I had followed it correctly.
- I then checked the voltages from the joystick, which confirmed that the
- joystick's manual was right.
- Then I swapped the wires between the two axes, and the joystick
- worked perfectly with three different games, all booted from floppy. So
- is there a problem with the Amiga hardware? I have KS 39.106. I now have
- a working adaptor but I'm just wondering if every Amiga is like this.
